Investigating materials at Pitt Rivers Museum

On Tuesday 17 October Class 1 went on a great trip to The Pitt Rivers Museum to investigate materials. They were able to handle a number of different museum artefacts, some of which were made from some very unusual materials, such as old tyres and camel intestines! They went off in groups to explore the museum, with a backpack of different objects and found many interesting things made of similar materials.

Ms Newman and Mrs Clarke were really impressed with their speedy walking there and back, and their great listening and answering of questions in the museum. Well done Year 1!
