Space explorers

Year 5 enjoyed a visit to the Oxford History of Science Museum on Monday 30 October. We learned about space explorers from hundreds of years ago and the different theories about our solar system and night sky through time. The children were able to use telescopes like the Galileo used, as well as see equipment astronomers, engineers and mathematicians of the past used to study our solar system and our night sky. We all really enjoyed the trip and felt lucky it was such a beautiful day to walk through Oxford.

We very much appreciate Ela’s mum and Saralynn’s Mum coming along with us.
