Investigating materials at Pitt Rivers Museum Y2

On Tuesday 17 October Year 2 went on a great trip to the Pitt Rivers Museum to investigate materials. They were able to handle a number of different museum artefacts, some of which were made from some very unusual materials, such as old tyres and camel intestines! They went off in groups to explore the museum, with a backpack of different objects and found many interesting things made of similar materials.

The children were brilliant especially as their workshop ended at 12.00 and we marched back to school for lunch at 12.45.
