Carol singing in the Covered Market

We enjoyed a very festive trip to the Covered Market in Oxford to take part in carol singing for Save the Children on Friday 8 December.  West Oxford’s Year 5 class raised just under £70 which went towards the total of £302.64 raised for Save the Children that day.

Ancient Greece at the Ashmolean

On Thursday 19 October Year 5 visited the Ashmolean Museum to see statues and antiquities from Ancient Greece. We had a great time and very much appreciated Lucy’s mum and Thomas’s mum coming with us.

Tennis tournament – 25 May 2017

Eight children represented West Oxford in the partnership mini orange competition. The competition involved all six of the partnership schools.  The children played brilliantly, each giving all they could in the hot temperatures.
