Year 3 returned the favour from earlier in the year, and came into Year 6 to show their science presentations. We were very impressed with their presentation skills.  

Victorian Day

On Monday 18th June, West Oxford travelled back in time to the Victorian Times. The children enjoyed dressing up as Victorian children and taking part in traditional Victorian school activities. William Morris art work, Victorian handwriting and PE drills were some of the activities put on by teachers throughout the day.

Year 6 visit to Pizza Express

This morning, Year 6 visited Pizza Express and made their own pizzas.

Year 6 created a presentation for Year 3 to explain how sounds travel to our ears and the link between loud and quiet sounds and the size of sound vibrations. Year 3 were a great audience.  

Year 6 visit to Cadbury World

Yesterday, Year 6 visited Cadbury World. It was a really great adventure, and the 4D cinema was a great hit! It’s been given a 5 out of 5 star rating from all of Year 6 and described as the ‘best school trip ever’!

Year 6 – weaving and Mexican-inspired artwork

Bright Sparks Workshop

Year 6 really enjoyed their Bright Sparks workshop during Science Week: we created bracelets to represent the distances between planets; testing ‘alien’ soils; and tried to protect the eyes of our alien creature from U.V rays!
