Today, Foundation Class up through Year 6 were able to take part in a Science Workshop run by Oxford Hands On Science. This is a volunteer group of Oxford University PhD students who are studying various fields of science themselves.
The children had a fantastic time learning about a variety of subjects such as bacteria, properties of materials, the digestive system and chemical reactions – just to name a few.
The day was great, but what made it better was that the program was free to us! Thank you OxHOS!!!  And a big thank you to Mrs Bethel, for letting us take over the Year 6 classroom all day.
