West Oxford Community Primary School

Welcome to Year 2

In year 2, from their large airy classroom beside the school hall, children start to deepen their knowledge of the world around them and build on their literacy and numeracy skills with Mrs Gwen Whiting and her team.

About Year 2

Children are so adventurous in Year 2, and even the quietest are starting to find their voice in the classroom, speaking up to share their latest discoveries and experiences.

We are lucky to be located so close to all that Oxford has to offer, and we make regular trips to the Ashmolean Museum, the Museum of Natural History and the exciting Pitt Rivers Museum to reinforce our learning and bring everything to life.
